Home » PROCEED   Product ID: D158-D Metallic Texture-Gold Base Proceed® Metallic Texture is a translucent acrylic metallic plaster highly pigmented with mica effect pigments. Apply to a clean and dry primed or painted surface by roller or trowel. Work the first coat with a trowel to desired base texture. Apply subsequent coats by trowel, removing excess material to create a smooth surface. Additional coats accentuate the metallic luster in the final finish. Full hardness is developed in 2 - 4 weeks. Let dry 12 - 24 hours before over coating with other Proceed®products. Proceed Metallic Texture is available in two bases: 000D153 Proceed® Metallic Texture – Pearl Base 000D158 Proceed® Metallic Texture – Gold Base A complete color palette from cool to warm metallic finishes can be achieved by tinting these bases. Metallic texture bases may be blended in any ratio desired. Gold Metallic Texture incorporates a gold mica pigment in place of pearl. As a result, the "flash" or reflection at the critical angle is gold in color instead of white/silvery.
